The State of Washington and several other local governments assist First Time Home Buyers with their first purchase. To be eligible for assistance you must attend a class sponsored by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission. I teach these classes monthly in Poulsbo.
The State considers you a “First Time Home Buyer” if you have not owned and occupied a primary residence at any time in the last three years.
