SMAI Layered Escrima / Kali sticks are ideal for training purposes as a durable alternative to the traditional competition sticks. 

Traditional, unlayered Rattan are are manufactured from a single piece of rattan and break under heavy impact. This Layered rattan can withstand impact better due to its construction.

All sticks are an even diameter of 2.5cm and have an artificial burnt pattern on the outer skin with a smooth surface finish.
